6 Months to Spain: Week 20 (2nd Last Post!)
Thanks so much for joining me for week 20 of my 6 Months to Spain series. I started the Learn in Your Car Spanish Series a few weeks ago. I’m gotten through part of disc 3. I also got through three episodes of that BBC Interactive Web course I told you about last week. I also bought a Living Social coupon a while ago and signed up on LiveMocha.com, a site committed to making people fluent in multiple languages. It fuses traditional learning methods with online practice and interaction with native language speakers from around the world. Needless to say, I’m excited to get started. But, I need to finish with the resources I am using currently.
6 Months to Spain: Week 19
Thanks so much for joining me for week 19 of my 6 Months to Spain series. I started the Learn in Your Car Spanish Series a few weeks ago. I’m gotten through the rest of disc 2 and some more complex sentences. I also got through two episodes of that BBC Interactive Web course I told you about last week. It is really cool! It’s really well filmed with real Spanish people speaking the language at their normal speed. It’s great to hear the pronunciations at a normal pace. It’s also super engaging- the story line is so strange that it really keeps you on your toes!
6 Months to Spain: Week 18
Thanks so much for joining me for week 18 of my 6 Months to Spain series. I started the Learn in Your Car Spanish Series last week. The first disc has disappeared, so I had to start on the second disc. I’ve gotten through about 5 tracks on the second disc. This series is very vocabulary heavy, so it’s been a lot of learning new words, refreshers on words I’ve heard before, and pronunciation checks for me. One thing to note is that this series doesn’t have Web support any more as the company is now defunct.
6 Months to Spain: Week 17
Thanks so much for joining me for week 17 of my 6 Months to Spain series. I finished up my lessons with the Berlitz Spanish Guaranteed collection: Unit 18: Renting a car. This week I will begin a whole new series, probably Rosetta Stone.
