I accidentally skipped a week because I wanted to include the photos below and I just didn’t ‘act’ on uploading them as quickly as I thought I would. I was able to tackle a few more lessons with the Berlitz Spanish Guaranteed collection: Unit 7: Talking about your family, Unit 8: Talking about occupations, Unit 9: Making appointments, Unit 10: Asking and giving directions, and Unit 11: Asking for information/store hours.
6 Months to Spain: Week 12
Thanks so much for joining me for week 12 of my 6 Months to Spain series. Last week, I finished the Discover Spanish system as was searching for a new system to work with. I had a lot of choices because my husband tried to pick up Spanish before… which meant he bought the lot when it came to Spanish guides. I chose the Berlitz Spanish Guaranteed collection of CDs, so I can continue to practice on my commutes. The first two CDs were missing from the stack, so I started with CD 3 and have so far covered Unit 5: Offering Food and Drink and Unit 6: Buying Things in a Store. I am finding it trickier to work with this system. I have to go over each lesson twice because it is very fast paced and you can’t always understand what the people are saying (reviewers on Amazon also mentioned the same). Continue reading
