Active Learning
Recently, I was asked to present at a distance learning summit on the topic of active learning in the online class. The thing to remember about active learning is that it isn’t rocket science, it’s just good teaching. Getting students actively engaged in the content respects different learning styles and preferences and helps students to take ownership of their learning experience.

As an educationist who is currently focusing on DIY learning, I believe we need a radically different approach to crediting learning that occurs in our daily lives.
