RECOMMENDATION FOR LEAH SCIABARRASI

Leah Sciabarrasi was a student in my EDU670 course, Principles of Curriculum Design, in the Spring of 2008. She was a model student and all of her hard work reflected this strong work ethic. Leah’s course design assignment, Multimedia Portfolio Design for Students, was exemplary. She was able to synthesize the development of portfolio using as student friendly format. Technology was fully integrated throughout the course and students were about the gauge their achievement level in the course via unit rubrics.

My class entails a great deal of student participation, since each assignment must be presented to the class, and she fulfilled this requirement with flying colors. Leah is familiar with the latest curricular models, teaching strategies, and she is especially well versed in all areas and applications of technology in education.

Leah is a personable young lady possessing all attributes of an effective teacher. I highly recommend Leah as a strong candidate for any teaching positions she feels qualified to accept.
