Hi Leah,
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate your expertise as a teacher and your kind & patient manner. This course has taught me so much more than just the actual content. I have learned that I can tackle technology problems by myself. If you did not encourage me, send me in the right direction, I would have simply thrown my hands up. Now I have the Voki and You tube ‘embedded’ in my sandbox.
ADIOS! PURA VIDA! nic

Leah,
My deepest, deepest thanks to you for your presentation last week. It was the inspiration behind a presentation I made on Monday of this week doing a teaching demonstration. I went home after your presentation feeling so FREED to be creative. You simply breathed life into me and I thank you most sincerely. I was told that my teaching demonstration was one of THE best the College has ever seen!!!
Thank you!

Leah- I am at the International Lilly Conference on College Teaching. I presented at the poster session on how teaching online changed my face-to-face classes. And it HAS significantly impacted my classes.
Based on peer evaluation, I won an honorable mention. And I owe it to you Leah !
Through your multiple-weeks trainings, your 30 minute instructional technology workshops, your online trainings with vendors, your 3 week specialized trainings, your Canisius Guide to everything online and your continuing support through Skype, emails, twitter posts, and your recommendations for conferences, professional groups, software, free downloads and websites, I have become more confident and competent in my online classes.
Thank you Leah. Keep up the fantastic work.

Dear Leah,
I don’t know how to thank you for the great work you did creating a website for the Loaves & Fishes Dining Room.
You really listened when we talked, asked intelligent questions and gave me good feedback when you questioned something I asked for or put in something that I didn’t think we needed. I really appreciate the professionalism with which you approached the project and kept me on task to make sure it was completed on time. The finished product shows the amount of time and care that you took.
The website is something we’ve needed for such a long time- we are so excited with the results! You really did a terrific job and gave the program a lot to build on.
Thank you again,
Sincerely,
Anne*

Thank you so much, Leah!
…On a side note, I did implement a crossword puzzle into my course and I’ve had lots of fun with dipity and bubble. I’m sure both of these resources will be quite beneficial for furthering the ability for students to explore and expand their knowledge base – as well as my own!
You are a wonderful resource and I really appreciate all that you do on behalf of myself and the students.
Above all, it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet you in person at the Education Tech Ed Day. Not only is it nice to put a name with a face, it is so rewarding to be able to meet and interact with the movers and shakers! That personal interaction is so difficult in the online realm, as you know. Once I met you in person, it didn’t take me long (maybe a second or two) to realize that whatever you had to offer was worth my time. Oh gosh, that may not have come out right – but I am a very good judge of character. I guess to backtrack here – I value time. I’d love to just stop the calendar. Perhaps turn it back?…

Dear Leah,
…By the way, I just wanted to thank you for your helpful tutorials. Due to your tutelage, I now have a fun “Instructor’s Welcome” power point added to my course. Next, I will be working on incorporating assignments that implement the two to four person groups you discussed in your EdTech article. Very interesting! Thank you!..
Sincerely,

Leah,
…Gosh, I have to pull myself away because instead of getting my work done, I am busy checking out all of the cool links you have posted in the Instructional Technology section of my course. Thanks so much for all of the goodies. Your website from your class is also an incredible resource. You really have a lot of great experience and we are fortunate to have your expertise.
Warm Regards,

Leah,
You have really done a great job with BUSS120. Thanks for your idea of adding a dropbox within the lectures to help create interactions with the students. I think I will add these to all the lectures. I also really appreciate your graphical continuity in the lectures which enhances the visual appeal. This class really looks nice!
We are fortunate to have you!
Warm Regards,
