Once you’ve earned some badges, you may be looking for ways to display these badges on your blog or Web site. This can be beneficial for those who wish to let their followers know what they are up to or if they are using badges as credit for employment. Don’t fret about having to learn a new programming language, displaying your badges is easier than you think!

First, log into your backpack and arrange your badges into ‘collections’. Login: http://backpack.openbadges.org/backpack/login

Go to ‘collections’. Create collections for your badges. Then, drag and drop your badges into the collections.

Now, log into http://badgewidgethack.org.

Choose a group you would like to display  and ‘continue’. (If you want to display all of your groups, you will have to select this information several times.)

Simply copy and paste the provided text into a widget on your blog (such as a ‘text’ widget, like I do) or an html space on your Web site.

You should now see your badges displayed like so on your Web site.

That’s all there is to it!
